To design this oversized tote bag, I used two jute rice bags (my friend buys lots of rice for her dog and I get the bags to upcycle, lucky me!), overlapped some cats cut from a curtain, and lined the interior with a leopard print taken from a blouse. The neon green embroidery thread makes all the pieces come to life. 

It was hand-embroidered by Josefina Osorio during 11 hours of craftwomanship in Medellin, Colombia.
